It firstly repaired and built small wooden boat. After forty years’ development, it now can repair and build 3,000-ton level barges and 1,000-ton motor vessels. The company is the member enterprise of Guangdong Shipbuilding Industry United Co., Ltd. It was taken over by Guangfeng Industrial Group in June, 2008.
The main business of the company are repairing and building ships, designing and making steel oil tank, making steel factory buildings, designing and making large advertising signs and all kinds of steel template, pile pipes and water pipes. The company had obtained the ship design B qualification.
There are fifteen of different kinds of technical and engineering personnel including one of senior engineer and eight of engineers. Covering 16,000 square meters, the company’s fixed asset is 10 million yuan. There are a 1,000-ton berth (90m*17m), a 1,000-ton stern loading dock, a 25-ton pedestal walking crane, a CW61100 type long lathe and various shipbuilding equipment. The annual shipbuilding capacity is 2,000 to 3,000 tons, repairing for thirty ships in total 15,000 tons. In the past years the company had built different kinds of steel ships in total 150 ships for Eastern Guangdong district, inside & outside Guangdong Province and Hong Kong & Macau district. The main products are 149-foot boat, 470KW tug, 12-car ferry, 8-12 mud suction control ship, 1,000-ton barge, harbor patrol boat, traffic boat, 150-ton and 300-ton coastal freighter, etc. Other byproducts including 30m3-5000 m3 steel reservoir (water) tank, 64m * 120m span steel roof truss, million tons steel pipe pile and so on. Both main products and byproducts enjoy high reputation.
